Merlo, San Luis. Argentina was one of the few regions in the world that could witness the total solar eclipse on July 2. 

Argentina Ultramagic Eclipse Experience was a very exclusive event where the FIGLeón, Festival Internacional del Globo’s Official Balloon, piloted by Cristian Biosca, captured impressive images of the amazing phenomenon, conquering the Argentine skies. 

In spite of strong and icy winds, the inflation started and a spectacular takeoff of balloons from Spain, the United States, Switzerland, Argentina and Mexico finally happened. 

The International Balloon Festival continues its international tour heading to the old continent. The FIGLeon will fly in the European Balloon Fiesta in Igualada, Spain from July 10 to 14, later in Segovia, from July 19 to 21, and finally in the prestigious Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons from July 26 to August 4 in France.
